About Michael John Rudolph

Sustainable Design & Planning

Michael graduated from UCT in 1981 and has  four decades of experience in the field of architecture & planning.

As a principal in medium scale practice for 23 years – Rudolph Lennard and Associates, a sailing sabbatical during 2008 lead Michael to open a highly focused & specialised practice which was awarded the Rolls Royce Property Awards Best International Residential Estate 2014 – 2015 

A growing recognition of the imperative for real & sustainable development led to Michael’s accreditation as an Accredited Green Professional with the Green Building Council of South Africa.

Michael’s expertise incorporates a multi-disciplinary environment combining planning, architecture & interior design services.

Michael’s design ethos revolves around simple & clear conceptual work with the emphasis on integrative solutions that result in a personalised built environments that are responsive to local context.

The focus is on contemporary design ranging from vernacular to minimalist, now broadened to incorporate green & sustainable architecture, on the back of extensive design & technical  experience.
